Hello, here's a little bit about me...I'm Sarah and I  live in beautiful Cornwall.

I only started jewellery making about 6 years ago. I work with my husband painting his automata creations and starting silversmithing seemed a natural step for me. I loved it from my very first pair of hammered silver earrings which I made for my Mum. Her face was a picture when I told her I'd made them myself.

It's been a fantastic learning experience from then on, I would say I'm technically self-taught but the amount of fantastic tutorials I've studied online have been my invaluable lessons.

During Covid I started making silver chains, some of which are still available here. After that I decided I needed some colour in my life and taught myself to enamel. I use my little Smith's torch to fire the pieces and some interesting techniques like Sgraffito (drawing a design through the unfired enamel). I love enamelling and although I still love my silversmithing and mixed metal work, I find creating enamel designs is just really fun!
